A vertebral hemangioma is a benign tumor made up of blood and/or blood vessels. Are they bothering you or were they found incidentally? If they are not painful, I would not worry as they are not cancer and they are common.

When I was first dx I had to go through other tests, you know to see if it had spread.
Well one was a CT of my liver. It came back with something there so had an MRI and low and behold, I had a hemangioma on my liver.
It's harmless and has probably always been there.
I don't know about the spine, but I bet it's the same thing..harmless.
