I have recently been diagnosed w/metastatic melanoma, that started on my right back, moved to left shoulder, right lung and now brain. I will be having brain surgery this week, then radiation and then the chemo will start. can anybody tell me what to expect from the radiation?

radiation
In part I think it depends where you receive the radiation. My husband had a primary brain tumor and that is where the radiation was focused. Fatigue was his main symptom. This did resolve but took quite a while. Other symptoms like headaches, nausea were addressed with steroids. Everyone is different. We knew a young man in our town who had the same tumor as my husband and received the same treatment who had very minimal side effects. Best of luck, you are in my thoughts.0
