Your Mom
Hi Michelle---I just wanted to let you know that my mom has had all three of those procedures. She had the spleen removed and hysterectomy done during the initial debulking and then had to have the colostomy done in a separate surgery after she developed a fistula. Those three procedures went well. She is now learning how to deal with the colostomy. The spleen hasn't been a big issue given that she is 61 and has developed many antibodies already to many diseases. Respiratory issues were her greatest challenge.
I will be thinking of your Mom.

Hey Michelle
I will say extra prayers for your Mom...My Mom had just about everything removed in her surgery and she came through it like a champ!!!! I think the worst part is waiting for them to do it. She couldn't have surgery for a number of weeks after her diagnosis...The doctors do an amazing job these days...our job was basically to be Mom's cheerleader. Keep us posted!! -

MOMZ ARE THE BEST, SO ARE DADZ
At all times we must be the person that God wants us to be. The same goes for your mom. She wants you to be strong for her. Live life to the fullest, because that is what she wants. A little quote by Abraham Lincoln for you.
In the end it is not how many years in life that count.
Rather how we spent those years. God bless you 4 ur message!
