Like the Cookbook Idea!

Hi - Liz, Leslie, Vinny, Sue and anyone else you enjoys cooking - love the Lymphoma cookbook idea! The reason my name here is Cookingirl is because I published my cookbook, Fran's Favorites, 5 years ago. I've cooked all my life, had 350 recipes too good not to share with family and friends, and it turned out to be a beautiful book (used Morris Press in NB, one of the largest companies for self-published books). Maybe when we're all past our chemos and want to contribute to a fundraiser for Lymphoma, it would be a fun thing to do! Fran

Like the cookbook idea
Hi Liz - I have no Jewish recipes so that would be great! Have NO idea how this book would come to frutation with us scattered all across the country but it could be figured out. AND how we'd promote and sell the books. It's a LOT of work to get it together and we'll have to feel better than we do at this time. But maybe it's not just a pipe dream and could happen one day.... Fran

I'm so happy to see others on board with the cookbook idea. I don't think gathering the recipes would be that difficult, even though we're spread out all over the country, email works. Publishing can be researched, I know several people who have self published. And it's amazing what people will buy on the internet. I'm really excited about the prospect of doing this. Just think, a cookbook done by people with blood cancers. Pretty cool. And those that don't cook can maybe do drawings or poetry. What do you all think?
