Hello ladies. Thought I'd update since I have not been on in a while. I am scheduled to have my ileostomy reversed October 29!! I can't wait. Because I'm having surgery I get to skip my chemo next week. I'm happy about that too! It makes me sick so I'm glad to skip a dose.
I can't believe Bonnie has gone to heaven. She was such a sweet lady. I absolutely hate this horrid disease!! I saw nothing in my city regarding ovca during September. I hate that too. I spread the word as much as I can, so does my family, but we need more awareness so that lives can be saved!
Blessings and love to all of you,
Natalie

Hi - I want to wish you well on your reversal. Today is my one year anniversary of my reversal. I had unexpected complications after my initial hysterectomy and ended up with the ileo. You need to be patient about getting back to your new normal- it takes a while. But hang in there. I went on a 3 mile walk this beautiful morning. Nancy591 has also I believe had a reversal. I hope we can offer you some support as you heal. Happy Blessings coming your way! Ellen0

I agree with you
I agree with you wholeheartedly Natalie.
Just because we are in the month of October doesn't mean we're done
spreading awareness of ovca.
As far as I'm concerned, fighting Ovarian Cancer for me is a 24/7 battle.
I will definitely continue to do my part in spreading the awareness about the dreaded disease!
