good PET results (bone mets, xeliri + Avastin)
Haven't lost all my hair yet (CPT-11) but it's definitely going....sigh.....
My onc says I am an usual case because I have bone mets but no "visceral" involvement (liver, lungs).
My CEA continues to be elevated, in spite of the reduction in mets - which is a bit of concern. But, hey -- I'm just concentrating on the positive right now!
He reduced my dose last cycle and I had no acute diarrhea or colic. I'm going back to full dosage this cycle. We'll see what happens!
Love,
Tara

You go, girl!!
That's wonderful news, Tara!! There's nothing that gives us the warm fuzzy feelings and motivation to conquer the world than good results after treatments and scans. Continue the good work, which in turn, verifies our theory that one can live with cancer and not die from it No matter where it's spread to... once you get it under control, then life is good
