Slow Grade Lymphomas Time Lines/longevity
Thats why the doctors do not know. There is several questions to be answered.
Will we change out diet or intake?
How would we react to different meds?
Is are body healthy enough for a fight?
Or mentally stong minded?
Theres so many factors to have a positive answer.
To say we have 5 to 10 years is a joke. Maybe back in the 70's.
I belive the worst thing we could do is be depressed. Depression will only make our body's weak. Emotions carry weight, the way I look at it is live every day like its your last.
And spend time with family, friends and positive people.
Doctors say this is the cancer they would perfer.
So lets prove them right.
Just my 2 cents.

Couldn't agree more!
At first I was completely devastated with the news, but over the last 4 months I've made some huge changes in the way I think. Instead of being scared I now hunger for positive information and feedback from those that have gone before me and are still here sharing their journey. Laughter is by far the best medicine in getting through this. Couple that with the wonderful people in this group I feel anything is possible and refuse to get bogged down with negative thinking. We need to just "keep on keepin on" and never give up hope for a bright happy future! Thats my 2 cents for what it's worth.

yup
I couldn't have said it any better. Especially the last 2 sentences. As far as the despression goes, it is so hard to pull yourself together. I remember that feeling when I heard the news. I went crazy. Slowly, very slowly I came out of it. Today, I have to say, i am feeling so much better. Ready for the fight. Maggie0
