Port flush

Hey everybody,
I jumped right on the phone when I heard every month for the port flush. They said the flush schedule is not set in stone. Some places go every 4 months,some 2 months and and some every month. It did have me concerned as well when I read the responses. I got my power port booklet out and started going thru it and it does state typically every month. Thanks for
the responses,thats what we are here for to keep a watch on each other. John

    My motto is "Trust, but Verify"...I think Ronald Reagan was the one that coined that quote...(the smart man that he was)! Never hurts to ask, when in doubt.

    Hey John,
    I'm glad you checked it out. I'd much rather do what the manufacturer of my port recommended than the convienience of my onc. I'm the one who would have to deal with a blood clot or blocked port if that happens. But than I'm a wave maker or a #$&% disturber and my doctors know that. And love me for that, I hope, HAHAHA.
