The Anti-Cancer Book
It is very interesting and right down my alley as I once asked my Dr. about what "I can do" vs. just tolerating the treatment.

Bought the book, and am enjoying it. It does a very good job of covering what you need to do nutritionally and why. Konga has me converted. Pom juice, no dairy, no red meat, little to no sugars, tumeric, olive oils, rasberries, blueberries, strawberries, with assorted fruits and veggies (broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower). NO refined sugars, flours. Organic lifestyle---salmon, anchovies, sweet taters (never mashed), and on, and on, and on.......Whole new lifestyle....0 -

Charlie, before you recommended this book, I was looking into Kongo's recommendations on diet for they made sense #1, and gave you a means to combat your cancer #2...I downloaded this book, on your rec, on my IPad, and have read and re-read the dietary part (as well as the rest of the book)...It appeals to my common sense...I am not a fanatical person, nor will I proselitize in the neighborhood, for this may not be for everyone, but my conclusion goes far beyond my own cancer, my own selfishness.....Why doesn't everyone consider this approach with the incidence of prostate, colon, and breast cancer that we have in America right now???? I don't know, but I sure wonder why....I know there is probably little excitement in giving up red meat, dairy and sugars (as much as possible), but if we are finding that the incidence in Asia is low to non-existant for prostate CA, and becomes a problem when Asians assume Western diets, why not listen to the logic. At least research it, to you satisfication....Thanks for the rec...0 -
