Dear Friends,
Ive been chemoing since Jan. carbo/taxol x4, Doxil x4, now Gemzar/carbo and gemzar the second week. Except for a 10 point drop in Feb., I stayed even at a CA-125 of 110. Yesterday, I had the first good news.... my CA-125's dropped to 72.6! I choose to believe that wonderful gift came from our sweet Bonnie.

    Fantastic
especially given that the doctor held your chemo hostage.....are staying with the same guy? or have you found someone else?

    had to stay!

I've had to remain with the same GYN Oncologist for I have no other viable options in my area and my GP convinced me to hang in. So, I had nightmares every night thinking that my counts would rise while my chemo wasn't being done. My family was frantic, also. I feel extremely fortunate that the long delay did not result in rising counts!

    great news
I am so glad to hear about your good news. Been praying for you and will continue. Pleases pray for Angela. Her body is not tolerating the chemo very well. She missed a follow up chemo and may not be able to take her next chemo if her white blood cells do no go up. She has had only two chemos. Linda
