I have a stupid question here, but you guys are the experts. How is a partial blockage fixed?

Sorry for the stupid question, but I am curious.

Thanks
Beth

    My story
    Beth,

I've had some of those, and I'm usually in the hospital because of PAIN, and they put me on IV's and a liquid diet. So far they'll all resovled themselves.

    *hugs*

    NG tube
OMG how I hate this thing. I swear I still have nightmares of that thing. Minutes after they just told me I have colon cancer they were making me swallow that thing, and then I threw up on myself. Good times. I never want to see an NG tube for as long as I live.

    My one total obstruction....
I landed in the ER with a doctor attempting to insert an NG tube 2 sizes too big...sigh...didn't know they come in SIZES!!!!

I was in the hospital for 4 days with that one...hurricane spray to deaden the throat got me thru...

I had 8 partials. Figured out what the signs were, early, and started drinking water, walking, and, during a spasm, bore down like having a BM...cleared them all...

    Hugs, Kathi
