triple neg recurrance
Any ladies with triple neg experience a recurrance. I know it's tough, From what I understand we're lucky all tests were negative and the cancer is in the same skin area of the mestectomy, small and not invasive. I am scared because my wife finished chemo April 20th this year and to show up so soon. Rad was not advised, they did not think it would be that effective. She had surgury to remove the lump and see the radiation oncologist on Friday.
All help is apprieciated

I am so sorry about the
I am so sorry about the recurrence. I just hate this disease. My younger sis had a local recurrence about 6 yrs ago and has done fine. She is ER+ though. Maybe my reply will put this where another triple neg can comment. Good luck!0 -
sorry
I am a tnbe survivor and so far have not had reoccurrence. I finished treatment last December and I know that the statistic can really get one down. From what you say it sounds localized and thats good. You might look at www.tnbcfoundation.org they have lots of good infor on tnbc and might be able to help. I will keep your wife in prayer and look forward to hearing what the docs say.
God bless you both,

instead of moving into another location in the body. My Radiologist told me that the reason for the radiation of that area was to be sure it would NEVER come back in the same place as before. So I would say radiation is a PLUS for your wife! HOpefully that will put an END to the beast once and for all!!!0 -

thanks for the comment about radiation. I haven't met with a radiation oncologist yet but will be. I've been wondering why I need radiation if my BSGI test came back and showed no evidence of cancer in my breast. At least I have some idea of what they may be thinking.
