I am so sorry Jean. I know
I am so sorry Jean. I know how you feel. I had a granddaughter born April 8th that was due May 11th because my daughter in law had preeclampsia. Mommy and baby both did fine. Ady did have a little jaundice and a low body temp for a week or so. She weighed 5 11 so was a pretty good size. She is at about 18 lbs. now so is doing very well!! I will be praying for all of you. God Bless

Congradulations!
Your a gamma! You may already be one but a new baby is always wonderful. I had the same problems as your daughter-in-law, only 29 yrs ago. Everything will be fine. My lovely 19 yr.old daughter left home this morning. She has a plan for her life. I love her so much, she has blessed my life in so many ways. Prayer and good thoughts to you and your family.0 -

I'm so sorry your vacation was cut short. Here you were going to visit your new grandbaby and the home situation made it necessary to return. My daughter-in-law is due Nov 2 but she hopes just to get through to mid October. This is her 4th child. Baby #3 was a girl born 1 month early after she was in bed at the hospital for 3 weeks. Dear granddaughter Emily weighed in at 8 lbs 3 ozs at a month early and was treated like a preemie because of the early delivery. She did sleep a lot but both she and daughter-in-law were healthy and fine. I'm hoping the emergency delivery today went well and that your daughter-n-law and grandbaby are both doing well.

Glad to hear your grandbaby is doing fine. Isn't it scary and nerve wrecking? She weighed over 2 lbs. more than my Isabella. Thanks for the prayers.0 -

This is actually my first grandchild! So excited!0 -
Thank you all!
I so much appreciate all the kind words and especially the prayers. Isabella was born yesterday afternoon and only weighed 3 lbs. 7 oz. She is so tiny. So far, everything seems to be okay. It's just so hard to see her laying there so small and so helpless. If you could continue to keep her and my son and daughter-in-law in your prayers, that would be wonderful. I knew I could always count on my CSN sisters. Hugs, Jean0 -

I will definitely keep your granddaughter in my thoughts and prayers as she strives toward a healthier weight. Continue to be in awe of what wonderful creatures we create. How's her mom doing? I don't know why I thought you were going on vacation to see another grandchild. Do you have another one on the way????
