Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma lll

My husband was diagnosed in Nov 2007 with an Astrocytoma II at the age of 25. We had a biopsy done to make this discovery and then decided to watch the tumor over time instead of doing surgery for a complete removal. His tumor then changed in August 2010 to a Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma III and was required to be removed. The surgery was last August and was a sucess. They were not able to get all of the tumor due to the chance of vision loss. We are still waiting on whether or not deletions are present in his tumor to made the determination of radiation and temodar or just temodar. Over the years I have done much research to better understand brain tumors and cancer but know I will never know all there is to know. I feel for all those out there dealing with a tumor or a family member or friend with cancer. I am always interested in more infomation. For the first 3 yrs we didn't have too much to research since the tumor didn't change from scan to scan and we didn't opt for surgery in the begining. I feel my husband never fully understood what he had until just recently when it changed and surgery was necessary. Reality has truly set in and I am having trouble getting him to open up. I have absolutly no idea what he is going through and would love some advice. My husband and I have been together since we were 15yrs old so we have a wonderful relationship but with this we are in uncharted territory. I bought Brian Tumor wristbands for us as well as our family and friends hoping that would help. I even have a friend, who lost her husband 8 yrs ago to brain cancer, that found me a support group minutes from our home. I plan on attending but my husband isn't ready yet. All of this is fine and when he is ready I know he will tell me but I need to know if there is anything I can for him. I know there is no right and wrong answer but any advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated. My husband has been having a great recovery and will be returning to work very soon. He is my Hero and my Life!
