My AFP was at 6000 when they
My AFP was at 6000 when they found my 9cm tumor. That was in Sept 2009. My surgery was in Feb 2010, the day before, the test showed my AFP was 10,000. AFP can be in the millions, especialy with pregnant women. I am at 1.8 right now. Normal range is below 8. Hope this helps..0 -

Thank you very much. I won't panic too much then. He cannot have surgery, due to the cronic drinking and they say due to the cirrohsis, heart, lung and HCC there is no help. The only thing they can do for him is to make him comfortable until it's all over. I am just really tired. He is becoming so mean and hard to want to be around. I keep telling myself that "This is not my Dad." I love him so much and hate to see him continue to hurt himself and watch him go through this. Thanks for the information.
