Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)

Hi, I live just outside Toronto + right now the Toronto International Film Festival is going on. Many many movies are being shown, + lots of stars are walking down our red carpets. Yesterday the Boss (Bruce Springsteen) was here. I have attended a few times in the past + it is a total blast. It is sort of like having a Hollywood invasion with a little Canuck twist. A few years ago I promised myself I would one year book a beautiful downtown hotel room treat it as a mini-vacation; see lots of the movies etc. It is fun to see how well some of these movies do afterward. I hope some of you get to attend one day.

    I am so envious of you, Anne :) I would LOVE to be there, but alas... walking and/or standing around is not something that I could do. But plunk me in a restaurant/lounge/piano bar to watch the comings and goings would be my idea of a fun time at the TIFF (and, of course, to see as many of the films as I could) :)
