hey, have had small amt of blood in urine for over 2 years. only noticiable in blood work, not to my eyes. no symptoms of UTI . this was happening even before my radiation and chemo so not related to that. now my Monroe urologist wants to do cystoscope. have anyone of you had this??? i think that it is an easy test but hate any poking anywhere. sephie(ps i am female 57 years old)

    I have not had one of these exams, so i can't give you any advice on it. I do want to wish you the best with it and I hope all goes well.

    I too have always had a
    I too have always had a little bit of blood in my urine for a long long time, even before treatment but have never had what you are having done. Is this to check your urethera (sp?) and bladder? Is it like a scope?

    I think it is like a scope to check the Bladder?/ and maybe the urethra also. i do not want to do it. i think that it is a precaution. i went to urologist to see if i needed to do something about the blood. oh well. might look it up on internet. hate to do that because it might scare me. sephie
