My New Pic
I wanted to share My new picture of my 19 yr. old son, who finally cut if his long hair (to his waist!) and donated it. It was all his idea! I am a proud and blessed Mom!
P.S. I DID have dreams of virgin blonde hair extensions.... hmmmmm. Lol! Yep, Just a dream!
Love & prayers to all!

Sweet
It's great to know there are 19-year-olds out there with the courage and sensitivity yours has. Quite a boy, er, man!
Best,

Love it when the kids come through in thier own way!!
My son is an acoustic and electric guitar player too. (no sax, but becoming fluent in French) He is now sporting the Marine style buzz cut.

My daughter
Donated her blond hair twice when she was younger. (just because her friends did it) Now it is down to her end again. At 15 she wouldn't dream of doing it again. She did tell me at the beginning of treatment that if I lost my hair she would shave her head during the fundraiser at school. She now tells me repeatly that she is so happy that I didn't. Got to love them.0 -
A son to be proud of
Patty, I can feel your pride shining through ;-) Your son is a wonderful young man, please tell him how proud I (and probably everyone else on this board) am of him for his compassion and thoughtfulness.
Our children will never be too old to amaze us.
Give your son an extra kiss and hug today and tell him it's from one of his "secret" admirers.
Love and prayers to you and your family!!!

You've got a good son there.
I'm sure he'll go far.

I appreciate all your compliments and praise! I think he will do better in school, not only because he won't have to deal with the hair, but also will be "seen" differently by his professors. I still feel people label you as they did in the seventies (hippy?) and now he can move on from being called "Rocker Dude"! Lol!
Thanks for touching my heart. Lots of love & healing prayers going out to my CSN Family!
