to the club, Judy. Great to hear more good news. Tough guy that I am, I was able to hold back the tears and yelping when mine was yanked- until I got out to my car! Seriously, for those still with PEGs, it's not that bad, and when it comes to the matter of having a PEG- having a PEG pulled is nothing compared to how good it is to have a PEG when it is needed. Sorry you lost an old friend, who was very close to you for awhile, Judy, but know your Adios was a happy one.

Tube removal
How long did you have the tube after treatment stopped?
So glad you have gotten past the tube and on to bigger and better things. I covered my pool last week as it has gotten cool at nights and no one was using it. I hope you have the best of time splashing around in it.
Congrats

Good for you. Mine didn't hurt a bit - my doc's SOP is to knock patients out for removal. I told his nurse that most of the folks here were conscious for removal, and she seemed to think the other doctors must be barbarians
Congratulations on being tube-free and all the good stuff that comes with it. It took two people to yank Mark's out. Very ouchy, he said...but so worth it!
Enjoy,

Last day of cisplatin and radiation.
We have a safety cover on our pool which is very good at keeping heat in and I have every attention on turing the heat on in the pool.0 -

Great news enjoy the backyard pool
Welcome to the club!!! It's such a wonderful feeling to get rid of that cumbersome tubing. Enjoy your pool, I just wish it was still warm enough here in NH to jump in a pool, fall has come early this year ;-(
Stay well,
