I'm not sure if this has been spoken of before, but I would like to tell you about Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos. He was a redemptorist priest who Pope John Paul II beatified in the year 2000. He is one miracle away from sainthood.
There is an interview on his website (www.seelos.org) of a woman who was cured of stage 4
esophageal cancer. On the home page, look for * Angela Hill interviews Mary Ellen Heibel.
We were just in New Orleans to visit the Blessed Seelos Shrine. We met some wonderful people who volunteer there. One such woman told us of her own healing from a paralyzing stroke 9 yrs ago at the age of 36.
Miracles are happening to this day due to the intercession of Blessed Seelos.
There is a monthly newsletter that you can access from the website. Each month, on the back page there are letters from people that have been healed through Blessed Seelos' prayers.
The people at the center are so kind. It is a truly special place. We will never forget the experience.
God Bless,
Liz, Tom & family

Our family is Catholic and I will look this up and tell my husband about it...are there specific prayers for this?
orion
I don't believe that there are specific prayers. On the Seelos center website you can find out all about his life. Our family has become closer to God and much more prayerful since learning of him.
