My husband has the same
My husband has the same issues. Diagnosed stage 3 jan. 2006 has been ned since diagnosis. Frequent bowel movements some days worse then others. Gas can be a real problem. I think its
more embarrassing for me then him because he doesn't take anything to help. I would love to suggest something to him that may work!!! Hopefully someone will reply that is more helpful.
Good luck

Rectal gas, along with slightly more frequent bowel movements, is the only symptom that has hung on for me, since radiation treatment over 4 years ago. It does seem to be diminishing, oh so slowly, at a rate of perhaps 3 fewer farts per month. But the slight improvement might be due to better diet rather than some healing process. Sorry I can't be more encouraging.

Just a thought, no solution
Just a thought, no solution for you. My ex had terrible foul smelling gas- it would make me tear up and run for the hills, really bad. He eventually had it checked (after years of telling me it was my issue) and turns out he had a hernia, part of the bowel was stuck or squeezed into the hernia, stool would get stuck in there and smell like a dead animal. He was fine afterrepair surgery. -
