Surgical Radiation to the Liver
I was wondering if anyone has had radiation to the liver and what your experience was like.
Thanks,
Catherine

Yes
CyberKnife is sometimes called Radio Surgery...high, intense beams of radiation given out over a small number of cycles, like 3-5 sessions, up to 2 hours each.
Worked really well for me, in the fact that it helped cut out the remaining tumor I had that RFA could not reach (in the liver.)
Still consider it a success at the time and a big reason why I'm still around.
Good luck,

Sorry about the double post. This iPad has a mind of it's own sometimes.
Did you have side effects from the radiation?
