Sisters, this is a great day for me. Not just ringing the bell, but having you all to celebrate with. The bell ringing is so special. It can be heard even in the waiting room area, where families & friends wait while their loved ones get treatment. Everyone rejoices. A number of people "rang out" during my treatment days. It was always a joyous occasion. And it gives those still going something special to look forward to.
Thanks again to you all for being here, not just for me, but for everyone. Hugs and Blessings, Gracie -

Gotta love those bells! I imagine that from this day forward, every time you hear a bell ring, it will have special meaning for you. Just like in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life".
Best wishes, Marsha -

Marsha thanks for reminding me of that. We have a brass bell mounted outside our house. Heavy, solid brass, from an antique store. We were told it was rescued from an old fire truck or tug boat or some such thing. Maybe it was, but I don't know for sure. We bought it because we liked the tone. Our grandsons love to ring it when they come to visit. More hugs & blessings. G -
