I haven't posted in quite awhile ... but I still jump on and read the posts to try and keep up with how everyone is doing.
But ... now it's my turn to ask for feed-back. For the newbies ... I had a lumpectomy, followed by taxol/herceptin ... then radiation ... and now I've been on tamoxifen for several months. I was convinced I wasn't having any side-effects from the tamoxifen ... but now I wonder. Last week I had one or two itchy little bumps in between my boobs. It was driving me crazy. I kept putting stuff on it ... but all it did was "spread" ... kind of like poison ivy ... and itch and burn like crazy. I can't possibly imagine how it could be poison ivy THERE! Now this morning after I got out of the shower I notice a new itchy bump in my crease where my underpants leg is.
I got online and see that in some cases a rash IS a side effect of tamoxifen.
Anyone had this ... and what did you do?
hugs.
