    Have no fear!

Information is always the best weapon against cancer!

    Confronting Pancreatic Cancer

Alternative treatment options for pancreatic cancer

We all are fighting various stages of cancer. Some of us are in
what appears to be remission, and some of us are treating cancer
as one would a "chronic disease".

Some of us are still here in body and soul, and others are here
in soul alone, but we are all trying our best in any way possible
to stick around as long as we can.

There are western medicine options, and alternative options
for you to choose from, just don't let fear of cancer, or the
fear of dying do the deciding for you. Instead, allow your own
instincts and intuition; the powers that you were born with
to enable you to live, do the deciding.

    You'll do fine.

    Think "healthy".

    I'm afraid I don't know much
I'm afraid I don't know much about met to pancreas. But I want you to know there are plenty of Survivors on this board with Stage IV colorectal cancer. I was diagnosed Stage III. I've had mets to lung and bone. Still alive and kicking! I wish you and your husband all the best.

    Your cancer
No, I have never heard of a metastasis to the pancreas from the colon. It is usually colon, liver, lung. However, there are always exceptions. Perhaps the colon was not the primary cancer organ. You might try a second opion since the chemo prescribed is very specific to the type of cancer.

Good luck and try to stay positive.

    primary was colon cancer.
primary was colon cancer. had a resection in june 2008. not only was this an extremely hard surgery, he has major complications. if we can get through this it will be at least 4-5 months before we can even consider chemo.
