    I'm so sorry to hear about this. Beth & Wendy - you and the rest of your family are in my prayers.

    My grandfather took his own life, and so did my husband's stepson from his last marraige, and a friend of mine a few years ago that left behind elementary aged boys (my boys' ages). It never seems to make sense to us if we aren't suffering from depression. It is such an awful disease, and so hard for others to understand that it actually is a disease.

    I hope you both consider counseling if you have trouble coming to terms with his death. This is different than losing a child for other reasons. I pray for comfort and strength for all of you to get through this very hard time.
