Anemic/Blood Transfusions

Ok, is there anyone out there who became anemic while on Nexavar. My husband's blood count has been going down this past month. He's already had 3 units of blood two weeks ago and now we have to go back to the hospital tomorrow for 2 more units. Anyone have any advice?
