Are you and your folks down along the Outer Banks of NC? If so where? I come down to Avon once a year and love it there, well at least I love it south of Nags Head.
Stay on high ground and be safe.

I read your post and thought you were involved with some domestic abuse problem with a guy named Earl. It was so bad you had to get your parents the hell out of there.
It’s fun to see what a drug infested mind can come up with.
Still loopy from surgery

Yep, glad you're not one of those chance takers and are getting the heck out of Earl's way.
Take care, and let us know how you're doing when you get near the internet again.
Hope Earl turns mild by the time he gets there.

My daughter lives in Virginia Beach!!! She just called and told hubby can't fly home because of the storm. She is not happy! -

Who Is Earl?
Hi Ktz,
WOW ...at least I'm in good company..I thought the same as Kerry and Tina. I thought I must have missed a post about this great guy that your parents didn't like. Ha Ha
Now that I know what you're really talking about I will be praying for your safety.
Big Hugs and Prayers,

We still have power and my blackberry still works. The storm hasn't hit yet, but we got out. We are not the type of family to wait. We are the type to go to a hotel with snacks and bottles of wine and wait it out. If we are going to stereotype, I think my family parties like they are irish they just hide the "refreshments" from the minister by making sure we don't use clear plastic cups lol. All in all we are doing well and I am. glad we didn't test the waters on this storm. -
