I am currently sitting in my lovely chemo infusion hospital receiving my last chemotherapy treatment. Good o'l cisplatin is a running through me now and later I get my external pump connected for 5HU. I can't believe I made it this far, it seemed to go buy so fast the last three months. Crazy..

    Congratulations!
    On your last chemo treatment. Are you doing radiation, too, and are you through with that?

    I did 8 weeks of rads so far
    I did 8 weeks of rads so far and 5 chemo treatments. Been a journey...

    Congrats John, and OH, BTW, hope you are close to the bathroom. As I know you are about near the point right now where you probably have to go every 15 - 20 minutes....they called me the PEE KING.

    Been there, done that....like you glad to be finished, but it's the juice to help cure you of the nasties....

    I'm thrilled for you....
    Congratulations on your last chemotherapy treatment. Only having finished my first round of 3, your words are an inspiration that I can do 2 more chemo rounds then my 7 weeks of radiation given you did 5 and it sounds like you had more radation that I will be getting.

    Stay positive and keep us posted on how post treatment is for you.

    Congrats for making it through all the treatments. It is so wierd how fast those months go by in hindsight. Now it is time for the recovery. Every day will be a little bit better.

    Thanks Dragons. You will do you, you will beat this monster! Just take it day by day and do what you have to, to keep strong and healthy. It's not easy and its ok to be stressed. Let us know what you need! Best to you my friend.

    Yes you know it! I get two liters of fluid, anti nausea meds x3 then cisplatin and another liter. Man I was a pissin horse!

    Thank you everyone for your positive comments. It has made my day much easier. Chemo complete, just need to wait 4 more days for my 5FU to run out and I'm DONE!

    That is excellent. Your attitude and what ever is going on around you must be incredible. We found the last week to move in slow motion.
