Symptoms and how much Pain
I have allot of pain now as this lump grows now and is causing my physical problems using hand arm and shoulder now and getting worse.
I have had a lump that grew before in arm pit and that did exactly the same thing as is happening now. I also have had full numbness of hand at times something that has never happened before these two lumps have grown and one was biopsied and lymph cells precent but benign. The large lump they didn't biopsy cause believe it is nothing. But this tooo comes from someone who has been told for past 7 years my dragging leg that has gotten worse in this time was due to menopause. MRI of brain shows problems and likely have slow progression MS but they wrote my symptoms then off and now this hasn't sat well with me. sat well with me all these years but went to another doctor and said the same. IT is hard for them to believe this or these lumps could be causing me such problems. I am tired and sick and tired once again and still waiting as we sit and watch.
Thanks for your information in advance.

I'd request a biopsy. Mine
I'd request a biopsy. Mine hurt when I ran b/c it was pressing against my muscle. The guy I went to said, "Well, I can take it out, but I'm sure it's just a lipoma so surgery would just be cosmetic.." I said, "Well, whatever, it hurts so I'd like it taken out please." And I told him I'd like it biopsied, too, regardless of what insurance pays or doesn't pay, and said I'll pay the balance regardless. Glad I was insistent. If yours is deep and around a lot of nerves or something, they might be more hesitant to just take it out. But, I'd at least request a biopsy of some sort, even for just peace of mind. Take care, and let us know how things go,

Have it biopsied.
I would suggest you have it biopsied, just incase.
I was told I had tennis elbow in the fall of '07. By the end of 2008/early 2009 I had started to get a lump in that area. Which was making my whole arm sore and my hand numb. They would not do anything but cortizone shots. Finally in April 2009 it was the size of a golf ball if not larger and hurt horribly. I asked that they look further into it,being it was growing fast and was so painful. I had an MRI done the next week then surgery for a biopsy to see what it could be,the chances of it being rhabdomyosarcoma were slim, but that's what it turned out to be. stage 3. I'm thankful I pushed them to look into it,or I wouldn't be here writing this now.
Sometimes they don't look into it enough for whatever reason.I would demand that they do a biopsy, even if it isn't cancer you'll feel better knowing it's not.

I can always count on this site even after all the years. I truly think here at my cancer clinic they just believe I Can't Have Cancer after all the treatments I had and that just doesn't sit well with me when you have read all the stories I have. Yes my arm is killing me and surgeon said the lump could not cause all this pain. They said that 14 years ago about the lump that grew in my arm pit couldn't be sore like that. He even said no nerves in the area where lump is even though pressing on muscles I am sure of.
I am so turned off since every doctor I see says the lump is something different even though MRI is inconclusive. Wait, watch it grow and some how sleep at night with the pain and it is affecting my life and my work. I was told maybe he is doing me a favour wating and said I don't see how as it grows and causes more problems along the way.
Thanks again truly appreciate your thoughts
