one of the most beloved members of the Colorectal Cancer Board, who also posted here, Shayenne (Donna) entered eternal life this morning after a recent diagnosis of metastasis to her spine and brain. Donna was the voice of encouragement, laughter, love and advise to everyone she encountered on the board. She even came on to post after her recent horrible news that we are not to worry about her, hospice was keeping her comfortable, she had her children and husband with her, and encouraging everyone to face this disease head on and not to give up. She had a true gift of love and friendship to people she had never met, you just felt it in her words.

Please whisper a prayer or two for her family as they face the next few days and weeks ahead. Donna was only in her 40's and leaves behind a husband and 4 children.

    I did not know Donna but have read her posts on the Expressions page. It is heartbreaking whenever anyone on this site loses their battle.

    I will keep her family in my prayers.

    Tina thank you letting us know, I enjoyed her posts she was a person of faith and showed her life quite openly. I am sure she is with the Lord and at peace. I will lift her family in prayer as they have some rough days ahead, she had little ones.
