Awesome!
Now you'll be protected everywhere you go! We pass our angel around our family every time we go through a procedure, surgery, or fly in a plane!0 -

Draw the angel yourself, or have someone you know do it. They can tat you from any drawing, at least a good tattooist can.0 -
Happy birthday.

I have a couple myself, both dragonflies, Hank used to tease me about them. Now I am looking for something in his memory, he will always be in my heart, and this way he will always be with me on the outside as well

Nice! Mine is on my cheeks and hiding from the sun! lol I have some sexy hot lips on my arse! As so to say, Kiss my Arse! Maybe I will reach 70 and it'll start looking like a frown!0 -
Tatoos
I was just talking to my husband a couple of days ago, I want to have a tattoo of my two children's faces. But... where???
And... heck I blew my nose today, had blood there, and then just from blowing my nose my gums started to bleed. I haven't had chemo for 4 weeks now.
Anyone know if you can still get a tattoo when that happens?? I just didn't want to ask my onc. LOL0 -

are you on Avastin? I would stop Avastin for 2 weeks prior to getting the tattoo, but otherwise you should be good to go. I have 3 tattoos and haven't had any complications, just the Avastin issue.

I think you should get one of something that brings back the best memories of you and Hank or maybe just him, something that when you look at it you will have this smile on your face and be at peace in your heart.

I was told while doing chemo I shouldnt get a tattoo at all or piercings. So I waited and I am over 1 year out from my last chemo so I am good..and so very glad I got it, but I think I got the bug, cuz now I am already thinking i need something on the other wrist to make it match...LOL

its more of an annoying pain, like someone continually scratching your arm in one place. Its not tearing of the skin, however some areas are more sensitive then others, and I am told that the foot and ankle are sensitive areas, I have always been told to go for a place with lots of meat or fat in my case. Things that are close to the bone tend to hurt more. I have one on my right ankle of a dolphin and it hurt like heck on some parts of it, but again it was tolerable. Good Luck, if your ever in the San Antonio area we will go get one together, I will hold your hand...
