Just wondering what anybody knows about carcinoma meningitis. My mom in law was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in Feb 2010. In June we found our she had carcinoma meningitis after an MRI. We were told 2 months without treatment and 6 months with. They doctors are very negative due to her breast cancer has spread to brain, liver, lungs, and bones. She has had the omya port installed and is undergoing treatment. The doctors don't say much except that they recommend no treatment because it won't do any good. Just hoping for a survivor story or hopeful news about CM because I haven't found any yet on the net...
