Hello to all my beautiful fellow semi-colons! I just thought I would slip you a positive post since it seems all ive been doing lately is complaining about my problems. I just wanted to let you all know how much you truly mean to me me even there are times I go rogue and you don't hear from me. Cancer can be a very lonely experience and it is different for everyone but you make my days better and my experience a little less lonely and on my good days I almost forget that I have this raging beast growing inside of me. I am working on my faith walk and learning to look at this as a nipping puppy instead of a raging beast. In spite of recent set backs I still have a love for life but you have to temper that with a willingness to let go if you are going to truly be as content as possible in our situation. I have learned many things and have seen who steps up to the plate and who doesn't. I have a wonderful supportive mother who will do anything for me. She is my angel on earth even though I hate that she has to go through this but she will have her reward in the end. As much as we have to face death, there is also so much to live for and Only god knows when it is our time. In the mean time, I will enjoy my good days, try to make my bad ones a little better by praying and working on my attitude, soak up the sunshine and cherish every moment.

    What a lovely post. As a mother let me say we would do anything to help or alleviate problems or pain for our children. Your mother is truly a blessing for you and you are to us as well. Thinking nothing but good thoughts for you and praying for you and for everyone who frequents this board on a regular basis. Keep fighting!

    You have a wonderful attitude regarding all you have been going through. Aren't mother's just wonderful. Glad that she is there to help you. Lost my mom to cancer almost 19 years ago. You mother sounds like an amazing woman. Always love to see your posts and you are in my thoughts and prayers daily.

    What you posted is the same for all of us one way or another. Glad you are having a good day.


    While we must fight this cancer thing with all we can muster, we still have to be out there living life and enjoying what we can of it. We will all die of some thing at some time, and as you said only God knows when it will be our time. As a cancer warrior, we at least have learned to take all the good days, hrs, mins, secs we can find and enjoy the heck out of them!

    Give that mom of yours a hug from me and tell her thanks for being your angel on earth. We all need one. My folks are 85 yrs old and came for a month to help me in my recovery.

    Take care...and please don't go rogue on us...we want to hear from you.

    I am glad you have found some peace. Your mom sounds amazing, no matter how old a person is, it is always nice to have a mom to care for you when you are sick. I miss mine every day. I hope you enjoy soaking up that sunshine and that you are feeling better.

    Moms, no matter how old our childen get they are always our babies. I'm happy for you that she is there for you 100% and that you are thankful for her support and love, that is important not only for you but for her also.

    Hi Eric,

    This is such a nice post. I am really happy you have a supportive Mom; I can't imagine going through this without someone great there beside me. You have not been complaining; only keeping us updated which we definitely want! I have said this before, but your attitude is going to carry you far with the "nipping puppy". BTW I like that; it is much easier to face a nipping puppy than a raging beast. Give your Mom a hug from me (from personal experience I know Moms can never have too many hugs). Always take good care!
