Hello
I have my I 131 scheduled for the end of September. My diagnosis was confirmed when I had a total thyroid removal on Jul 15. I have celiac and am a bit concerned about the low iodine diet combined with gluten free - anyone else out there in the same boat? I am having thyrogen shots so I don't have to go off my meds so at least that is a bit of a relief

Hi danderson, I was just recently diagnosed with celiac. I am due for a partial throidectomy next wednesday. So many questions. I hope someone can give us some answers.
Hi Soccermom2-4
Please let me know if you need any help with the gluten free! I have been gluten free for 6 years. I am talking with my holistic team re: the low iodine diet and will let you know what I find out.
Good luck with your surgery!
