Busy week.... Cyberknife Tuesday

Hey all!!

Well, the time is finally right around the corner! YAY!! Got the lungs tested last week...oh they are a beast! Got CT scan to see how many markers stayed put. 1 of 2 are intact. Enough to go ahead. When this recurrance started there were 5 nodules noted on PET/CT. Only 2 of those lit up. The one that I am having CK on and a real small one in the left lung. The other 3 were less than a CM in size and all in RT lung with the big boy that had almost grown to 3CM. NOW??? After 2 kick a$$ chemo treatments (all hair GONE!) it seems that ALL nodules are gone except the one awaiting Cyberknife...and it shrank to 1.5 CM. YAY!!! They said they are gonna blast the you know what out of that and they can name that tune in 3 days...not 4...LOL.

So Monday I have oral surgery to remove a tooth that chemo destroyed and then Tuesday thru Thursday is Cyberknife. 2 hours each day and they have a screen built in the ceiling so I can watch a movie while getting procedure done and they said since there are NO side effects I can get up and go shopping afterwards....Dang, things sure have advanced in the medical world. I can go thru all this..and STILL go to the Mall.... I am one happy camper!!!

They said fatigue sometimes will hit you but in most cases not. I hope not. I have to start cooking Thursday night for a huge graduation party I am having for my daughter on Saturday. She just completed Nursing School... YAY BRITTANI! Got 120 invited over for a day of swimming, fishing, volleyball, washers, badmitton and a DJ playing in the evening with plenty of dancing, kegs and Jello shots.... Got the back 8 acres set up with tents and Johnny-on-the-spots for those in need.

Hopefully I will be celebrating a graduation....and NED??????? At any rate.... I will be celebrating LIFE..... Love to you all!!

    This is amazing! It sounds like the chemo is working well + your mind is in a fantastic place. I can hardly believe you can go to the mall afterwards! The big party sounds wonderful too! Good luck + take great care of you!

    WOW! It is hard to believe
    WOW! It is hard to believe there are minimal to no side effects! Technology is wonderful. Congratulations to your daughter for completing nursing school. That is quite an accomplishment. Have fun at the party it sounds like it's going to be the happening place over the weekend.

    Go, jen. You are not letting anything slow you down. It looks like I will be getting brain surgery done on Tuesday and I will not being going to the mall afterward. They said it would be simple as far as brain surgey goes and take about an hour. I will be in the hospital for 2 days. One more thing to look forward to. Love those hospital stays. Doesn't everybody?
    You enjoy your party and have fun, you little dynamo. You are kicking some cancer booty!
    By colonpalooza you will be right as rain and raring to go.
    I need you to send me some of that fire and and burn this crap out of my system. I need a complete overhaul over here.
    I have to be up to snuff for our get together so we can all have a good time.
