Stretch Marks/Expanders
I am scheduled for my 3rd expansion tomorrow. I noticed stretch marks last week on the underside of my breasts and a little on top. I called my PS's nurse, and she did not seem concerned. She said it happens, and they may have been there before, and we don't have to slow down on fills. Has anyone else had this? I know it isn't a huge issue, but if I can avoid getting more, it would be nice. I feel a little "blown off" by the nurse, and I the PS doesn't even see me for fills (nurse does it).

I got the stretch marks

I got the stretch marks too (which i didnt have before) and it was from stretching the skin to fast, my PS slowed down on my fills and told me to use the vit E oil that they gave me for my scars and told me to put it all over my breast not just the scars...it was amazing how well it worked and now that i have the implants in i can barely see them. The Vit E hydrates your skin and giving it more flexability.
Unfortuantley most doc's dont seem to care if you get stretch marks...not on there list of priorities. But its a HUGE issue to us...all thoughs little issues add up and effect our outcome of how we feel about ourselves.
Quick story...i talk to a girl in my physical therapy whos also a patient. She has busted open her incision 9 times from fills and her doc doesnt care to say you need to slow down...nope he just keeps filling her up. I think some docs can be to aggressive in the fills telling there patients its ok, just beaware of this and be careful...thankfully i got a PS that cares and even cares about the little issues as well...by the way shes also female maybe thats why. -
I got them too
I used the cocoa butter ... try to get organic because a lot of it has parabens in it. I only received 25 more cc's after I noticed the stretch marks and I waited 4 weeks instead of the 2 because I had a lot of pain down my side.
The PA did my fills ... my PS never saw me during the fill process until the end, so I understand. Use cocoa butter or the vitamin e mentioned above ... slather it on and go less often and get smaller fills ... mine aren't that visible now and mine were on the top. I was very depressed about it once I first noticed it ... but now not so bad. We are our best advocate. Tell her how concerned you are when you see her next and tell her you want to go slower. That's OK. Are you anywhere near the size you want to be?
Take care,

Thanks, EVERYONE, for your replies :-). I'll try the organic cocoa butter, and I'll definitely tell the PA i want to go more slowly (i go in tomorrow). I think I want to go a little bigger. A "Solid B" has always been my goal. I must be close :-). -
