I find his story much like a report as to his feeling. Very intresting . Him veiw, some what different but really touching each person in a simple way. As we struggle to make since as to what is going one and why . He is very straight forward. Cancer does not decrimate. Makes you wonder about life. Thank you for caring this.

    unfortunately
Hitchens, whom I've long admired for his wit & candor, gives EC a high profile based on his
lifestyle excesses (smoking & drinking). His EC is squamous cell, commonly brought on by
such behavior. The other form of EC, adenocarcinoma, is thought to be caused mostly by GERD or Barrette's Syndrome, which is not a lifestyle choice. Similarly, smoking causes most lung
cancers, but there are other causes!
