Still waiting for the pet/ct. Should be early next week. My pcp is now on board with thinking that symptoms look like lymphoma.
I have received some blood results. My tumor marker for thyroid ca is elevated. So, this most likely means that I have some thyroid ca cells somewhere inside me. I have no thyroid and have had rads for a recurrence with mets. So any elevation can not be good.
I still am most concerned with the current symptoms. After reading all your posts about symptoms and such, my pcp wants me to deal with this situation first and the thyroid relaspe second.
Oh the joys of cancer. Always lurking around and waiting to surprise you when you least expect it. I am so glad to have found this site and to have all of you.

    well.....
double the fun. Darn. I can't relate to 2 completely different cancers, but I have had 4 different types of indolent lymphoma on m biopsies. I try to think of it as "special" LOL.

You are in a great place for support. Keep coming here honey. We'll hold you up if you can't figure out which way to go.

    Take heart, this is doable.

That is a warm way to look at cancer. I'll give it a try.
Waiting is the hard part right now.
