Menda i did the same thing...went shopping for new clothes cuz i had new girls and ya i felt guilty spending money on myself (cuz thats rare for me...usually buying for kids or otherhalf) Then i thought i deserve this and also needed it cuz nothing fit anymore. After all we been thru we need that just to lift our spirits a little...i think hubby should understand.0 -
Cheerleading statements for you
1. New clothes are an investment in my recovery.
2. I do deserve to look and feel pretty.
3. How much is too much to care for oneself?
4. Be gentle with yourself as you would be to your best friend.
5. Looking and feeling good-priceless.
Hugs, K0 -
You deserve
You deserve all the dresses you see that you like. Whatever we need to do to make us feel good about ourselves during all of this is not only a good thing, but a necessary one.
Enjoy them.

If you want support
you came to the right place. I own ## shoes (won't expose it here).
Basically for the same reason "they were so cute". Do I have guilt?
NO, they ARE cute and I LOOK good in them. And I bet you look
fabulous in your dresses. Go ahead, INDULGE!

Partner in crime
If you won't feel guilty, I won't. I bought a dress, skirt, a sweater set, 2 tops and 2 pairs of cute shoes today. We are going to my niece's wedding in NH this weekend and I just want to look nice too.
About bras, my daughter found me a wireless one at Victoria's Secret that works well. It has some kind of a padded (but not really padded) cup that hides imperfections. Between the rib pain and the uneven boobs, I definitely have issues :-)0 -
Only 2??CypressCynthia said:Partner in crime

Awwwwwwww, sweetie!! Don't think your hubby would mind you buying whatever it takes to make you feel pretty. He's going to be happy that you're happy, and if only 2 dresses make you happy, then what the heck?
My dh's smiling as I told him about you...and he said, "Kinda like you and garden stuff...."
Have fun, and you look FANTABULOUS, Dahhhhhhhhhhhhhlin'!0 -

Bad is good in this case! I love to shop too!
That kind of therapy makes you feel better. And when you feel better, your husband will reap the benefits! HA!
Blessing,
Sylvia
P.S. You need to post pictures of you in those 2 outfits!0 -
LOL
I just bought a bunch of super comfy stuff for the chemo days. I haven't even started my treatments yet, but some of this stuff I've been eying forever and I finally decided that with what I've already gone through and what's coming, I could afford to splurge a little on myself. We all need a little "comfort shopping" every now and then!

WTG! You deserve all of the shopping that you can do and afford. lol
I have to admit that my hubby has splurged on me and I also have kind of overdone it at times. But, you know...I feel like I earned it. lol
You enjoy your new clothes and put a smile on your beautiful face!

Enjoy
I think we all have a tendency to feel guilty about anything we buy or bought for ourselves BFBC. Now it's time to throw that guilt in that good ole circular file. Now is not a time to forget about who is Numero Uno right now. Enjoy, endulge and go back out there to get the shoes to match!!!
Smile Pretty for those cameras.
XOXO, Edie0
