The Cancer Survivors Network (CSN) is a peer support community for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and friends! CSN is a safe place to connect with others who share your interests and experiences.
Good News!
It has been just over a year since I was diagnosed with PPC-Stage3C during an elective surgery... although it has been extremely scary and overwhelming, so many blessings have occured as a result of my diagnosis...the Lord has been faithful and has carried me (and my family) through this crazy journey. I don't know what the future holds, but I need to always remember... I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
Prayers to all!
PS I am so thankful for this site...

So pleased
I am so pleased you have relieve from your anxiety. I know exactly how you were feeling. The thoughts of cancer returning just take over everyday thoughts. It consumes you and I can not find a way tobe rid of it. I think you did the right thing and got it checked out. I too have PPC (diagnosed Noiv 09) and the symptoms of a recurance can be so vague, there is no wonder we get worried. Actually worry can cause gastric activity which may seem like the cancer is back.
Take care & I hope you remain cancer free
