had surgery at duke on feb 05/2010. doing well, it will be ok.
It was a little tough but now I stated back to work full time and I am doing well.
Takes a little time to learn how to eat just a little at a time. (to much and you will lose it).
Feel stange still, but all is ok.
I will pray for all of you and hope that you will all feel as good as i do soon.
I do not have a computer at home and will not come back to this sight much, I am at work.
(smile ) but I will check in sometimes.
GOOD LUCK everyone and God bless,
Just remember that.
Our Father in heaven is a real loving father and he will keep you safely in his arm. Just like he did me and my brother (who is stage ii and is two month behide me in recovery and doing ok, some small problems but I know he will be alright).
God bless
callie (I am 57)

Great attitude!
Glad things are going well. You're positive attitude will be helpful in your recovery. A couple of things prompted me to reply. I too am 57, Stage 2N1 also, I had surgery first followed by 2 rounds of chemo,(the doctor had given me a choice) My first CT scan since surgery is coming up on August 13.
hope all continues to go well for you.
God Bless

take care Callie
Hi Callie,
I haven't been able to be on this site as much as before but (at least) 2 things prompted me. #1, my dad had surgery 12/8/09 at Duke too, but is older 71 now than you are. My mom and dad (& I) really respected the folks there! I hope your experience was as good as ours was. and #2---sadly my dad's younger brother ALSO was diagnosed this past year with EC----unfortunately his was more advanced than my dad and not in as good of health overall. He passed after only 3 months.
Siblings having EC is not all that rare and I hope that somehow we will be able to encourage further research to determine the genetic or environmental link for this disease.
You have a great attitude---God Bless and take care!
