Update on my mom

She has walked 50' with the walker, but not consistantly and needs help getting to an upright position.
Her cognotive skills have decreased too I feel. I just don't get it. I know the effects of WBR can be delayed and some issues be forever, but her last WBR was March 19th and she is worse than she has ever been.
Thanks for listening....it has been a tough 5 months, plus add in the fact that my husbands mother was dx w/esophogeal, it has been very trying....

WBR
Hope,
It was at least 6 months after my WBR that I began to notice that I was forgetting things, having a hard time concentrating and unable to multi-task. Probably other people noticed it soonerI can think of something I want to do in another room, and by the time I get there I've forgotten what it was. I have a small house, too! Bear with her, it may get better, mine seems to be. If it doesn't, she may need to be seen by a neurologist.
You have a lot on your plate, Hope - try to take some time off for yourself, too.
My best wishes to you and your mom,

Thanks guys, I truly appreciate it! You would think I was a kid, but I am 46, mom 66, but prior to dx, looked and acted 50....my best friend...
Taking her to onco tomorrow, thinking maybe she needs fluid or blood, we shall see.
It is so hard because you hear "remission" and your mind wants to think "great, all good, back to normal"....this is hardly the case, and such a tough pill o swallow.
My best to you all, be good to yourselves.....
