Do you hear the music ??

Mammogram today showed no evidence of disease. Also saw surgeon and he said he'd see me next year. I was expecting to have to see him in six months, but he said, 1 year. Visit with oncologist will be on Friday.
So one year ago this month, July 09, I was told I had a 2.5 cm lesion in my right breast. My world suddenly fell apart. Chemo first, then lumpectomy, then 33 radiation treatments and now on Femara. Its been a long journey, filled with fear of the unknown, reactions to the chemo, fatigue, etc, but maybe I can finally now enjoy my retirement and await the birth of our second grandchild in October.
I only found this site after my chemo, but I have found it to be a great help in so many ways. You ladies are a great source of inspiration and hope to all. keep up the good work.

Oh Judy, Congratulations!
What a great post to read! You ARE a survivor! I'm post-lumpectomy, post chemo and coming toward the end of rads (10 left out of 35!). I've gone through the same range of emotions and physical problems as alot of you. So glad to hear from someone with great news--helps me to go on and gives me such hope. Thank you and good luck.
