don't get discouraged
Hi Sheri,
Thanks for sharing your recent news with us. I've wondering about how you're doing!
As you said, it wasn't a total failure, since many mets remained stable. Who knows what might have happened if you had been on no treatment at all during this time.
Let us know what treatment you decide on next.
Take care!!

Keep Fighting, Sheri
I am sorry that trial didnt work, but there will be others, and I pray that they will work. I am so glad that your ONC seems to have a plan. Sounds like you have a great medical team with you.
Sending prayers up for you...stay strong...

I'm sorry you are having such difficulties. I was not aware you were doing clinical trials. I'm sorry. I follow your story and knew you had experienced a recurrence and had not seen you post in a while and was wondering what was going with you.
I think of you often. I wish you the best in keeping the cancer under control and look forward to reading that the next treatment option is working better for you.
Best Wishes - Tina0 -
Hi Sheri
Sorry the trial didn't have better results. Are you still at GUH? We went there expecting a trial that included ABT-888 but that particular trial wasn't succeeding so well either. We were just at GUH on July 16th when Pam had her second TACE treatment. The first treatment appears to have shrunk the tumor he went after. The second treatment targeted the largest tumor. We have a PET/CT scheduled for August 31st to see the results. We are glad to hear most of your mets remained stable.
