Good News!

For the new comers to this board, I was diagnosed with Epithelial Ovarian Cancer at Stage IIIC in January. Surgery and six carbo/taxol treatments later--Here I am...growing hair!

YAY, YAY, YAY!!!!!
THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING NEWS I'VE HEARD TODAY!!!! God's blessings to you, Leesa. And, I will do the dance with you! Yesterday, I received my CT scan results. I am also NED. To recap, original DX in March 2000, surgery, chemo. Recurrance in March 2006, surgery, chemo. So, I think I'll splurge on some new dance shoes too!!!!

NED is No Evidence of Disease. Basically, when you have CT scan that doesn't show any cancer, you are "dancing with NED".
