God bless you and your family
I am sorry to hear that your Dad lost his fight but you are right he is in a better place. It is us left behind who are sad because we have to let them go. My husband is still fighting and I am scared too. I try to just enjoy each day with him and try not to look too far down the road. Peace be with you! Donna -
You are in my prayers...
Cindi - I am so sorry your dad is gone but I know he will not be forgotten. Cherish your memories and try to smile when you think of him and all of the great things you have done with him in the past.
I know it is hard at first, I lost my mom 8 years ago and a brother 2 years ago but I am now able to smile whenever I think of them and I know this is what they would want me to do.
You and your family will be in my prayers.

Cindy,
Very sorry for your loss - I know how hard it is to lose a parent. Praying for some comfort for you and yours left behind. Thank you for thinking of those of us still in the struggle when you have undergone a terrible loss. Be well.

Sorrow is what we all feel for you in the wake of your Father's battle, as our Prayers were with him. Take solace in that he has not perished, Cindi. All teach, thus we know, that the Soul does not die. The only real question is whether or not it lives here again, Cindi, or has gained entrance into the land of the Lord. Your Father has only left our plane and the limited physical reality we are easily aware of. His suffering is over, Cindi. We, from our distance, may know the sorrow of his battle ending more than you can possibly know, as battle we share; however, we can never know the sorrow you now feel for the loss of your Father. With diagnosis, our Belief is strengthened, and so it is with Death, Cindi.
