    thank goodness for laughter
    I did not have to have chemo, but I did lose my breast in April. Since, when I see friends all look at my chest first to see if they can see the missing breast. Go figure.

    My gosh, Sunshine, you have your husband and your mom giving you grief?? My heart goes out to you, that is just too much. I'm afraid I would turn just plain mean. I tend to take a lot and then fillet offenders with my tongue. My guess is that neither of them could take being on the receiving end of a good, old-fashioned tongue-lashing. But then, that's just me, but I can tell you that my family remembers the couple of times they got it blasted right back at them and have not repeated what brought it on!

    Before surgery I told my mom I was nervous and upset that the dr would be cutting me, hacking me up. I'll have a chest full of scars. She replies, " I wasn't aware that you made a living showing off your breasts." What!, " well it's not like you are showing them off, no one will see them." Well their my damn boobs!!

    I'm sorry, but that truly is cold and insensitive. One of my sisters when told I had BC said "Oh that is so efffed up, now when we fill out those medical forms I'll have to write yes I have a family member who had Cancer." " That is sooo messed up." Gee, I'm sorry I ruined her life!
