Ringing the bell

My Mom was diagnosed with stage 3a ovarian cancer in February of this year. She had surgery at the end of Feb and the Dr's said they got all of the cancer. She finished her last, 6th, treatment today. My sis just sent me a pic of her "ringing the bell" before she left MD Anderson. She does go back in a month to have her scan but just knowing we've made it this far is such a relief. I swear I can't stop crying.

That's great news!I can
That's great news!
I can relate. My mom goes for her chemo every 3 weeks and is usually in the room the longest.
Her oncology center doesn’t have a bell, but they do have what they call a “flush chair” where throughout the day, folks come in and get their ports flushed, and boom, they’re on their merry way.
After watching this month after month, mom turns to me and says, “ I wanna sit in the flush chair”!
That will be one of the happiest days of my life to be able to see her in that chair.
Nothing like a good bell ringing!
