Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with RCC in Aug 2009 when I was 39. I am now 40 and nearing my 1 year mark. In Aug 09, I had a 7cm tumor in my kidney and had my rt kidney removed-stage 2 clear cell. I have been going in for CAT scans every 3 months since then. Before the surgery they did a scan of my lungs and found a small calcified density or "spot" on my lung near my heart, which they said looks like the remnants of valley fever. They are watching it closely. I am a little concerned with all of these scans and the effects they are having. I am having trouble coping with my emotions too.
